Community groups have until October 18 to request 2017 financial support from the Town

Each year Council receives many requests from community groups asking for the Town’s financial support on projects or other initiatives. If your organization is seeking a donation, grant to organizations, forgiveness of fees, or donations of capital for 2017, now is the time to submit your request.

In an effort to ensure that all requests are presented before the approval of the Town of Huntvsille’s annual budget, any community group interested in making a request for the 2017 year must submit their requests to the Clerk and request a deputation by October 18, 2016.

On October 26 at the General Committee meeting, Councillors will review any new requests and listen to any deputations by the community groups.

At the November 30 meeting, Councillors will debate and consider the inclusion of any submission in the draft budget for consideration.

Community groups may make their written submission in any method. The sample Community Request Form may be downloaded as a guide.
