TD Summer Reading Club

Celebrate reading on June 24 at River Mill Park with the launch of the TD Summer Reading Club

Join in another summer of reading fun and more with the Huntsville Public Library!

Help the library to kick off the 2017 TD Summer Reading Club at River Mill Park this Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be musicians, face painting, tech gadgets, button making, kid’s art creations, treats, refreshments, and a special storytime with Miss Canada Ciara Thompson at 12 p.m.

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is offered at 2,000 public libraries across Canada – including Huntsville Public Library. The Club celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories, and inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way, the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

There are weekly and grand prizes for Tots (baby to grade 1), Kids (grades 2-6), Teens (grades 7-12), and Adults.

Bring family and friends and join in the fun at the Rotary Bandshell in River Mill Park to help launch this year’s TD Summer Reading Club and register while you’re there!
