Algonquin Outfitters has once again brought the Paddling Film Festival World Tour to local audiences, this year in a virtual edition. The World Tour typically screens in more than 135 cities around the world each year and is now available to stream online.
The festival inspires people to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push physical and emotional extremes, embrace the paddling lifestyle, and appreciate the heritage of the wild places we paddle.
This year, three programs are available—Adrenaline, Adventure and Culture—and each one offers about an hour-and-a-half to two-hours worth of films. A three-day rental costs just $15 USD. Gift cards for any program are also available if you would like to gift them to someone else.
Here’s what you can expect in each program:
Adrenaline—These five films celebrate great rivers and oceans, life-defining moments, people who know what it really means to be alive because they are not held back by fear:

Adventure—These four films will take you to some of the most beautiful places on earth and provide you with all of the inspiration you need for your next paddling trip:

- Family Routes (30 min)
Culture—These nine films tell the stories of paddlers and all that paddling can mean to us:
