Burglar pleads guilty to break-in at Huntsville fish and chips restaurant

A repeat offender from Huntsville appeared in Bracebridge court recently, where he admitted to charges related to the burglary of a local fish and chips restaurant.

Easton Childerhose, 32, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and theft at Westside Fish and Chips in Huntsville last January, along with charges of breaching probation.

He was one of two individuals implicated in multiple offenses tied to ongoing investigations of break-ins in Huntsville and nearby areas.

In a separate incident in 2023, Childerhose had also pleaded guilty to assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon, and violating court-ordered conditions.

Childerhose entered guilty pleas to both charges in the current case, and a pre-sentence report has been ordered. His sentencing is scheduled for later in April.
