On Wednesday December 9, 2015 just before 6:00am Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police were notified of a break-in to a gas station on Highway 11 just south of Huntsville.
The owners of the Ultramar station on the west side of Highway 11 (formerly Adrienne’s Esso) arrived prior to store opening time to find that unknown culprit(s) had broken the locks on the door and managed to get inside the store. Once inside they managed to get into the cigarette cabinet and take a substantial amount of cigarettes. The culprits did damage to some of the equipment inside the store preventing the gas station being able to open for business.
Huntsville OPP members were assisted by the Scenes of Crimes Officer (SOCO) in the investigation. The officers are looking for any information into this break in. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between 10:00pm Tuesday December 8, 2015 and 5:30am Wednesday December 9, 2015 is asked to contact the OPP at 705-789-5551 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
