Bracebridge OPP seek public assistance in Sobeys theft investigation

The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to a theft.

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, Bracebridge OPP officers began an investigation into a theft that occurred on February 26th, 2026, at 3:10 p.m. The suspect entered Sobeys located on Edward Street in Gravenhurst and stole a large quantity of items valued over $200. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a black jacket (that he removed once inside the store), and a black ball cap. He then left in a small, grey, four-door car.
