On behalf of the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Canadian Blood Services we would like to thank the following organizations and individuals in helping to make the six Blood Donor Clinics held in 2024 a great success.
The space provided by the Faith Baptist Church on West Road in Huntsville is ideal for the Blood Services to set up, for the donors to be welcomed, registered and safely supported as they give their donation of blood. As Hospital Auxiliary volunteers, we thank you for the use of your spacious clean kitchen for assembling our cookie trays. As well, there is plenty of space for us to greet the donors upon arrival at the refreshment area and to serve them their snack as they rest before departing. Thank you!
The donors have enjoyed homemade cookies at the clinics this year as we have resumed our sponsoring partnership with the following “Community Hostess Groups”: Trinity United Church Women, All Saints A.C.W., Riverside Baptist Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and new partners, the Rotary Club of Huntsville. Your willingness to support the Blood Donor Clinics with your baking, cookies and assistance has given great pleasure to our Hospital Auxiliary volunteers and above all, to our wonderful Blood Donors. The treats you have provided this year have encouraged the donors to relax and replenish following their donation.
