It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Belva Frances Earl on June 27, 2024.
Belva was born on March 9, 1941, in Huntsville, Ontario to parents Neil and Dorothy Swan. On May 12, 1973, she married her late husband Raymond Henry Earl. Belva was the second oldest child of 15 children. She worked as a custodian for the Muskoka Board of Education. During her life she had a passion for fishing, dancing, horseshoes and camping.
Belva is survived by her son Joseph Earl (Tracy), granddaughters Jackie Earl and Tierra Earl, and sisters Valerie Walker (Cliff ), Nancy Hughes (Jim), Eva Campbell (Dan), Trudy Dyment (Ted), Joy Crewson (Mel), Bonnie Roberts (Mark) and survived by her sister-in-law Joan Swan and brother-in-law Barry Smith. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond Earl, her parents Neil and Dorothy Swan, her brothers Jimmy, Allen, Neil, Joe, and George, and sisters Pat, Doreen and Marion.
The visitation will take place on July 2, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and again on July 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Billingsley Funeral Home. Reception to follow the funeral service. Belva will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband following the reception at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.
