Band on the Run volunteers have the most fun

As Band on the Run quickly approaches, Race Directors are putting out a final call for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Volunteers are needed for many crucial spots on Saturday, June 9, 2018, both along the running route and at the music festival.

For the past six years, Band on the Run has had amazing success as it has become a well-known Muskoka event. This success is attributed to the help of each and every community member who encourages the runners along the route. Race Directors hope that many people will be interested in generously donating their time and energy for the first time, or as a past supporter, to ensure that this is another fabulous Huntsville event for which our community can be proud.

It takes more than 200 volunteers to make this event run smoothly, with some volunteers being needed as early as Thursday, June 7. The majority of the volunteer positions are part of the action occurring on the Saturday at the Race and Music Festival.

Anyone who volunteers is given a complimentary lunch, t-shirt and free pass to the afternoon music festival.

Race Directors are excited to see this year’s event come together and would like to thank the Huntsville community for their generous donations and support. If you would like to sign up as a volunteer, please visit the band on the run webpage by clicking here.
