Art Fx is a year-long series on Huntsville Doppler featuring Huntsville-area visual artists.
These “Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil, and See no Evil” papier-mâché bears are on a paper clay structure with acrylic medium and are each approximately 13″ x 16″.
“Just being part of living in the country surrounded by nature and animals, birds, and other creatures of the wild fills me with inspiration every day,” says artist, Patricia Astley. “I imagine their playfulness and emotions and try to reflect that in my work.”

About the artist:
As a professional childrens’ illustrator, Patricia has spent time in several parts of the art field, this time accepting the challenge of putting illustrations in 3D, always with a good measure of humour.
