Warren Miller Entertainment is excited to bring its audience back into theatres for the 72nd feature film, Winter Starts Now.
In Huntsville, the film will play at the Algonquin Theatre, presented by Algonquin Outfitters, on November 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Winter Starts Now is a “love letter” to that special place on the calendar–the winter season. It’s a call to action for all viewers—get stoked, be prepared, because the season so many live for is here.
Join us for a road trip through the Rocky Mountains, experience classic New England skiing, and hitch a ride up the coast of Alaska. Along the way, we’ll be joined by old friends like Marcus Caston, Amie Engerbretson, and Jim Ryan. We’re speed riding with JT Holmes and hitting the moguls with Jonny Moseley. We’ll meet rising stars Madison Rose and Paralympic snowboarder Noah Elliott, and follow along as Vasu Sojitra and Pete McAfee complete the first-ever disabled ski descent of Denali. Buckle up for an adventure, because Winter Starts Now.
“If we learned anything from last year’s most unusual winter, it’s that skiing and snowboarding and life in the mountains provide a release and a reprieve and a reminder of what matters most,” said Micah Abrams, VP Content for Warren Miller Entertainment. “Every year, we celebrate that moment when you can see your breath and realize that you’re only a few weeks away from your first run of the year.”
Tickets are available online at algonquintheatre.ca for $20 (plus HST) each.
