And the mystery artist is… Alan Doyle!

Followers of the Huntsville Festival of the Arts, and anyone who has seen its 2018 brochure, will know that on August 9 a ‘mystery artist’ will be performing at Deerhurst Resort. The name of the band is a mystery no longer: Alan Doyle and his exceptional band of stellar musicians returns to Huntsville, one night only, for an 8 p.m. show.

From Petty Harbour, Newfoundland with love, Alan Doyle drops into Deerhurst’s Legacy Theatre with a guarantee to rock the house. As the lead singer for Canadian iconic band Great Big Sea, Doyle became legendary for his dynamic stage presence and down-to-earth humour.

Since headlining with his top-notch band, Doyle has released three award-winning CDs and toured extensively across North America and abroad. An actor, a writer and a great songwriter, Alan Doyle is mostly a character at heart who enjoys nothing more than to give his audiences an evening to remember.

Tickets went on sale July 12 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased through the Huntsville Festival web page huntsvillefestival.ca or the Deerhurst Resort web page. The show is expected to sell out so get your tickets early. Tickets for this show are not available through the Algonquin Theatre box office.
