It’s Wayback Wednesday, sponsored by Jamie Lockwood, broker/owner of Sutton Group Muskoka Realty!

The Muskoka Digital Archives, a project of the Huntsville and Bracebridge public libraries, has marked this postcard as a mystery. The sidewalks appear to be made of concrete yet wooden sidewalks were not replaced by granolithic sidewalks in Huntsville until 1908 after Mayor J.E. Fisher took office in 1907. What do you think?

Noticed the same thing regarding the shadows. Wonder if the picture is reversed?

I noticed that they have hydro poles as well as the concrete sidewalks, not sure when hydro went in?

Seems the shadows are all wrong. The shadow in this picture would only be possible early in the morning very close to Dec 21……. and even then???
