Santa’s a busy guy but not so busy that he couldn’t make his way to Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area for one final appearance before he took off on his one-night world tour. (Don’t worry, kids—he’ll be back to deliver surprises in time for Christmas morning once you’re safely tucked in bed.)
The jolly old elf was joined by more than a dozen skiers for the Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade at the ski hill, all of them accompanied by Christmas tunes on the bagpipes courtesy of young Muskoka Ski Club member Sam Crowder.
Revellers enjoyed hot chocolate, cookies, and music by Tobin Spring in the chalet before and after the parade.
The annual event is a family tradition for many. The torchlight parade has been hosted by the ski club every year for more than 45 years, making it one of Muskoka’s longest running Christmas celebrations.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
