The Town of Huntsville is advising residents that park closures will occur at various locations this summer due to scheduled maintenance work to replace or upgrade amenities, as provided for in the Town’s 2024 Budget.
Scheduled maintenance work will impact the following: Utterson Park Tennis Courts, Port Sydney Park Basketball Courts, Port Sydney Park Playground, Conroy Park Tennis Courts.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work to maintain the quality of the amenities at our parks for your enjoyment. Please note that closure dates could change depending on weather,” states the Town.
Utterson Park Tennis Courts – Closed June 24-July 27
The Utterson Park Tennis Courts is scheduled to be closed for maintenance work from June 24 to July 27. Maintenance works include demolition and removal of the existing courts, resurfacing, court surfacing, and lining for new multi-use courts.
Port Sydney Park Basketball Courts – Closed June 24-30
The Port Sydney Park Basketball Courts are scheduled to be closed for resurfacing from June 24 to June 30.
Port Sydney Park Playground – Closed July 2-17
The Port Sydney Park Playground is scheduled to be closed from July 2-17 for the installation of new playground equipment.
Conroy Park Tennis Courts – Closed July 3-27
The Conroy Park Tennis Courts is scheduled to be closed for maintenance work from July 3-27. Maintenance works include demolition and removal of the existing courts and resurfacing, court surfacing, and lining for new multi-use courts.
