Utterson resident, 10, makes it to top three in beginner snow-cross championship

Utterson resident Zorawar Singh’s family and coach are feeling proud.

The Utterson resident, age 10, participated in the Snow-Cross Championships 2025 Race, held at the Compound Muskoka (Goodale Marine) on January 4-5, 2025.

Zorawar is new to the sport, yet managed to secure a spot among the top three in his class.

He had just gotten on a sled a week ago, and that was his first time competing at this level. “Zora had never driven any sled in his life before and made it to the podium. He came in the top 3 racers in the 200 beginner class, where he competed against 16 others in the final round,” noted his mom, Kuldeep Kaur Singh.

He will be competing in Timmins, Ontario, on January 18-19, 2025.
