Two Junior C Otters players receive league top honours

The Huntsville Otters are pleased to announce that two players on the team have been recognized for excellence in the league.
Kyle Burns was voted as the league’s Top Defender. Kyle regularly plays 30 minutes a night and is a force on the team’s blueline. Burns finished his fourth year in the league with 45 points in 38 games, good enough for 10th in league scoring and 13 points ahead of the next closest defender.
Andy Baker was voted as Rookie of the Year for the league. Andy finished the year with 62 points in 39 games, second only to 20-year-old Evan Beuhler of Midland (who just reached this milestone on Friday night, as Andy had led ALL season). Sixteen-year-old Andy was a dominant player all season.
Congrats to Kyle and Andy.
