Vandalism seems be becoming an everyday event. It won’t be long before the annual “let’s rip out all the flowers planted around town” takes place. Sad that we have so many morons running around town these days. Oh well, if the police manage to catch them, I am sure the court system will give them a stern warning. I think it’s time to bring back the stocks and we can all throw rotten eggs at them and then make them pay for the damage they caused.

Perhaps the OPP could start doing regular patrols at night?
Don’t we pay enough for policing that increased visibility of law enforcement would deter this?
Consider an overnight curfew for certain age groups?

  3. Ralph Cliffe says:

I think I would be inclined to install an alarm system with
cameras. Even a motion sensor alarm would do the job.
If caught the vandals will receive a slap on the wrist with our revolving
    door court system.
Our OPP have enough to do without this childish nonsense!
