Trafficking charges for two Huntsville residents and one from Novar after search warrant executed

 

On March 1, 2019, the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and the OPP Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEA) executed a warrant at an address in Novar with the assistance of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit.

Jeffery XAVIER (44) of Novar, Ontario:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine – for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Cody KINNUNEN (26) of Huntsville, Ontario:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine – for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Krystal COULSON (35) of Huntsville, Ontario:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine – for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

XAVIER and KINNUNEN were released on a Promise to Appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the Town of Huntsville on April 3, 2019. COULSON was held in custody for a video show cause hearing in the Town of Newmarket on March 2, 2019.
