From the Township of Lake of Bays.
On December 12, 2023, the Council of the Township of Lake of Bays approved a new Asset Management Plan.
In compliance with Ontario Regulation 588/17 Asset Management Planning for Municipal Infrastructure, the Township retained consultant R.J Burnside and Associates of Orangeville to prepare an asset management plan for the Township’s assets, including an analysis of the state of local infrastructure including roads, expected service level requirements, and an asset management and financing strategy.
This plan is intended to be a tool for the Township to use during various decision-making processes, including the annual budget process and Provincial / Federal capital grant application processes. This plan will serve as a road map for sustainable infrastructure planning going forward.
