Square Foot North fundraiser supports the arts in Huntsville

Featuring 33 local artists and 99 works of art, Square Foot North is an art-lover’s dream. Not only will patrons leave with beautiful, original works of art, but they’ll be supporting an important cause, too.

Each 12” x 12” artwork in this joint fundraiser, which will be held during the Huntsville ART CRAWL in June, will be priced at $300. Half of the proceeds will go to the artist, and the other half will be split between the Huntsville Art Society and the Huntsville Festival of the Arts.

With arts funding in decline, support for the arts is needed more than ever. Both Huntsville Art Society, with its Artists in the Schools program and workshops provided for local nursing homes, and Huntsville Festival of the Arts, with its arts programming for all ages and popular — and often free — community events, promote the arts for everyone with their community outreach.

See a catalogue of the works that will be available for purchase at Square Foot North — while they last! — here. Share the news with your friends on social media and beyond!

The opening reception and sale will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 2 to 4 p.m., and the exhibition and sale will continue Thursdays through Sundays from 12 to 4 p.m. for the remainder of June. Find us at the HfA Studio at the back of 58 Main St. E (off Dara Howell Way, across from River Mill Park).
