Great Big Sea founding member Séan McCann is set to perform at the Algonquin Theatre on March 16.
Tickets for the 7:30 PM show – Séan McCann sings the Great Big Sea Songbook – are now on sale.
“We’re thrilled to have Séan stop in Huntsville to perform at the Algonquin Theatre as he begins his tour across the country,” says Melania Nadj, Acting Manager of Algonquin Theatre. “Séan was in Huntsville last year and he was able to really captivate and connect with our audience. And with his Irish background, we’re expecting to have another night of incredible fun, laughter, stories, and singalongs on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day!”
Founded in 1993, Great Big Sea is a Canadian folk rock band from Newfoundland and Labrador and has recorded notable songs such as: When I’m Up, Ordinary Day, Mari Mac, and Everything Shines. McCann, a recipient of the Order of Canada for his advocacy for those living with mental health and addiction issues will be on tour throughout Canada beginning in March to celebrate and sing the Great Big Sea Songbook.
