Downtown merchants got creative this week, attracting young trick-or-treaters to downtown Huntsville to see their handiwork at today’s Pumpkin Pop-up. The promise of candy may have had something to do with it as well.

The day-long event invited wee bees and small superheroes to drop in to downtown stores to score some sweet treats, and check out the carved and painted pumpkins displayed along the sidewalk.

The event was held in lieu of the annual Tiny Tots Parade, which was postponed for another year due to the pandemic.
