Thursday, October 20 was a day of celebration at Pine Glen PS. The school had a special assembly in the afternoon to wrap-up their Terry Fox campaign. The assembly began with the school being awarded a “25 years” banner to hang in the gym recognizing that Pine Glen has been supporting the Terry Fox Foundation for the last 25 years. Students also presented a cheque with this year’s fundraising efforts to a representative from the Terry Fox Foundation.

The top three fundraisers were all in Catherine Macrae’s kindergarten glass with junior kindergartner Weston Jarvis leading the way with $171 dollars raised on his own.
