The egg hunt takes place at Muskoka Pioneer Village for children 10 and under on Easter Sunday, April 9. It starts at 12 Noon sharp. The event will last until the chocolate is gone.
The Easter egg hunt is free of charge and children will be divided into five groups based on age, so younger children aren’t competing with older ones, explained Nutty Chocolatier owner/operator Nancy Wenger. As customary, the grand prize – a golden egg – will be hidden in each category. Those who win the golden egg will get an amazing array of Easter chocolates!
“The Easter bunny will be there. It happens regardless of the weather,” said Wenger.
Leave your furry friend at home. No dogs are allowed at this event. Bring your Easter basket and a sweet tooth. There will be 14,000 eggs to collect.
Happy Easter egg hunting!
