Municipal mishap

This sidewalk plow/sander was spotted by one of our readers. The accident occurred on Sunday, November 22. The machine slipped off the sidewalk on River Street and tipped over the embankment, which was about two feet high. The operator was gone and Edward’s Towing was spotted pulling the machine upright with cables attached to the tow truck and trees, according to Huntsville resident Rudi Stade.

According to Ross Fisher, Roads Foreman for the Town of Huntsville, the road conditions were slippery. He said other than a few bruises, the operator was not hurt.
