Just when you thought you were done snow clearing, Environment Canada says a snow squall warning continues for the area.
Hazards: Additional snowfall accumulations of 15 to 25 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour. Significantly reduced visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow.
Timing: Ending Thursday afternoon.
Discussion: Intense snow squalls will taper to light flurries on Thursday afternoon. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Road closures are possible. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. If you must travel, keep others informed of your schedule and destination and carry an emergency kit and mobile phone. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
