Minerva Street East from Centre Street South to West Street South will go down to one lane for reconstruction.
Works are to include storm sewers, catch basins, concrete curb and gutters, new sidewalks, road base and road resurfacing.
All businesses will be accessible by vehicles and pedestrians; however, only one lane of traffic will be open at all times, causing traffic disruptions.
Work is expected to begin on July 2 and be completed by midnight on August 31.
