One of Huntsville’s most popular summer events, Midnight Madness, was back on Friday, July 21, for its 41st year.
The annual street festival brings together residents and visitors from across Muskoka to enjoy the sales, food and entertainment in downtown Huntsville.
As always, the event ran from 6 p.m. to midnight and was flooded with hundreds of people enjoying the night.
One of the biggest hits of the night yet again was Community Living Huntsville’s All Abilities Dance troupe showing another wonderful performance. The troupe, which was created over four years ago, welcomes all levels of ability to dance with them, whether you have a disability or not.
Two local dance studios—JJ Dance and Muskoka Dance Academy—had performances throughout the night of all types of routines.
New this year was the very first Midnight Madness Street Dance complete with its own DJ. When the night started to get dark, Mike’s the DJ turned up the tunes and the main street was open for people to start dancing.
Whether you scored some crazy deals or spent the night watching the magicians and street performers, there was something for everyone.
