Dr. Allison Christie, born and raised in Orillia, has spent her summers in Huntsville since she was a little girl and chose to make our town her home seven years ago. She’s excited to finally return and provide healthcare to this amazing community.

She was a provincial-level gymnast until the age of 18 as well as a coach for ages two to 16, where she developed her love for working with children. She has always been active, participating in various sports throughout her schooling, and most recently taught a seniors’ exercise program while in Toronto.

Allison received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. After completing her degree she attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where she completed her four-year doctorate program.

As a chiropractor, Allison focuses on spinal health and headaches, as well as joint and soft tissue injuries using Diversified technique. She is also Webster technique and Smart Tools certified.

As a new mom, Allison enjoys hiking with her young family and taking advantage of all the gorgeous trails Huntsville has to offer. She is excited to serve the community she proudly calls home.

The clinic’s new schedule will almost double the time it was previously open each week, with evening appointments available twice per week. “This is a heavily sought-after time as it doesn’t interfere with our patients’ work hours,” says Dr. Knox. “We see a lot of our area’s tradesmen in this time as they can’t take time off through the regular work week.”

Knox Chiropractic Clinic accepts patients for regular family chiropractic musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, neck pain, low-back pain, and extremity injuries of sprains and strains, as well as specific sport injuries including minor traumatic brain injury assessments and treatments—most commonly called concussions. The clinic also accepts motor vehicle accident claims and is adding Workplace Safety & Insurance Board claims. The clinic has a registered Massage Therapist, Lorraine Timm, onsite.

“The trust that Huntsville and our surrounding communities puts into Knox Chiropractic for their health care is of paramount importance to us,” says Dr. Knox. “Basically, if you have an injury or condition, call us first to see if we can help.”
