It’s Wayback Wednesday, sponsored by Pharmasave Huntsville!
Among Huntsville’s early settlers were John and Matilda Madill. The couple were married in Hamilton on October 31, 1840. They later moved to Huntsville by way of Port Hope. They donated an acre of land for a church in their new community, which was built in 1872 and 1873. Madill Church remains in that location today, and a restoration project is underway.
