In this early spring photo of Lookout Mountain, you can see the pavilion, which was built in 1926, near the summit. In the foreground is Hanes Street and several early-Huntsville homes including Gilchrist House. As for the date, Sara White from Muskoka Heritage Place says, “The Gilchrist house appears to have lost the north porch but does not yet have a tennis court so my best guess is the mid-1930s.”
