Huntsville woman arrested for an alleged violent robbery

The Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested a female after a report of a robbery in the Town of Huntsville.   

On June 4, 2024, at 8:18 a.m., officers of the Huntsville OPP Detachment responded to a report of a robbery in the Town of Huntsville. The victim was at an address on Susan Street when he was assaulted and his property taken. The victim was able to leave the location and called 911. The victim was treated and released from hospital. 

As a result of the investigation, Lisa CECY 48-years-old of Huntsville was arrested and charged with: 

  • Robbery with violence
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Fail to comply with probation order

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
