Huntsville OPP seeks assistance in break and enter investigation

Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s assistance regarding several break-and-enter investigations in Huntsville and Lake of Bays.     

On June 7, 2024, police received a report that a business on West Road in the Town of Huntsville was broken into overnight. Unknown parties broke a window to enter the business, and money was stolen.

Between 2 p.m. on June 7th, 2024, and 7 a.m. on June 8th, 2024, a business on Bay Street in Lake of Bays was broken into. A glass door was broken, and property and cash were removed from the business.

On June 9th, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., a business on Lindgren Rd West in the Town of Huntsville was broken into, and property was taken. Suspects broke a window to enter the business. Security cameras captured two suspects: Suspect 1 was wearing a hoodie (top light coloured, the rest was black), grey baggy jogging pants, black VANS style shoes. Suspect 2 was wearing a dark hoodie, red shirt underneath, black pants, blue sneakers. 

Anyone with information related to these incidents is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit information online at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
