The students at Huntsville High School are working on a production of Matilda the Musical, which will be performed at the Algonquin Theatre from February 12th to 16th.
The students and teachers have been working hard over the past 4 months to put this production together.
Roald Dahl’s Matilda, also known simply as Matilda and Matilda the Musical, is a musical with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and a book by Dennis Kelly. It is based on the 1988 novel Matilda by Roald Dahl. The musical’s narrative centers on Matilda Wormwood, a precocious five-year-old girl with the gift of telekinesis who loves reading, overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school and helps her teacher reclaim her life.
The show runs February 12 – 15, 2025 at 6:30 pm and February 16, 2025 at 1:30 pm. You can get tickets HERE.
