Huntsville & District Minor Lacrosse Association celebrates successful year

[ratings]

The Huntsville & District Minor Lacrosse Association’s year officially wrapped up this past weekend as the fall field lacrosse season came to a close. Overall, no less than three Huntsville Hawks teams won provincial titles in 2015, an incredible testament to the skill and drive of all the players, as well as the dedication and commitment from parents and coaches. The Association also had successful year with their girls’ field lacrosse program, which it looks to continue growing next summer.

“With two box and one field team bring home provincial titles, it is fair to say that Huntsville Hawks had a great year in 2015,” said Hawks President Jason Rudge. “With numbers up and new development programs that started we had a strong year, and are looking even better for 2016 with the hope that a few more titles will come north again.”

The Hawks will run a winter skills and drills early next year before the spring field and box seasons start. Below are the award winners for each team.
