It was a bit of a homecoming for the Rotary Club of Huntsville on Family Day. The organization hosted a Family Fun Day on February 19 at Muskoka Heritage Place, a local attraction that the club was instrumental in creating in the 1960s. (You can read some of that history here.)
Hundreds of residents and visitors stopped in throughout the afternoon to take in the free activities. The event was full of simple fun, designed for families to spend time playing together, including snowshoeing (with snowshoes on loan from Huntsville Public School), snow painting, snow darts, marshmallow roasting and tasty hot dogs grilled by Rotarians.
If you were there, tell us about your experience in the comments.
