More than 275 Nordic skiers of all ages descended on Arrowhead Provincial Park for the annual Muskoka Loppet today (January 24). Athletes took to three track-set courses – 5km, 15km or 30km – in a mass start.
The top finishers were:
5km Female: Fiona Shearing, 0:19:39.5
5km Male: Owen Johnstone, 0:18:47.9
15km Female: Zoe Pekos, 0:46:23.4
15km Male: Malcolm Thompson, 0:43:40.3
30km Female: Isabella Howden, 1:42:01.5
30km Male: Petri Bailey, 1:34:39.6
