Help shape the future of Early Learning and Child Care in Muskoka

From the District Municipality of Muskoka

The development of an Early Learning and Child Care 5-Year Service Plan for Muskoka is underway. Led by the District of Muskoka, this mandated Plan will use community input to understand and address the needs of families, early learning professionals, and service providers over the next five years. The District encourages children, parents, caregivers, early learning professionals, and service providers to share their insights and experiences about Muskoka’s existing early years and child care sector through an online survey or by participating in upcoming focus groups.

“Our goal is to make sure that every child and family gets the support they need to thrive. What children experience in their early years shapes their future.  Investing in our children today builds a stronger Muskoka for tomorrow,” said Nancy Alcock, Chair of the District Community and Planning Services Committee,

How Can You Participate?

Community Survey – Share your insights and help shape the future. The community survey will be open until Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024.

  • July 8, 2024, from 1-2 pm at Bethel United Church in Huntsville
  • July 9, 2024, from 1-2 pm at Bracebridge United Church
