Have you spotted the elusive Lion at Lion’s Lookout?

I Wonder Where the Lion Is …

When my husband and I visited Lion’s Lookout one fall morning, several years ago, we were greeted by this wonderful lion. We often climb the hill as part of our morning walk but had never had the pleasure of meeting His Majesty!

Several overseas visitors had also wondered how this creature had gotten to the Lookout. Was he the new mascot? The local Lion’s Club representatives we contacted said they knew nothing about this visiting lion.

When we returned to the Lookout the next day, the lion had vanished.

We would love to know the story behind the Lion at the Lookout. Can anyone help us fill in the blanks? Until then, the mystery continues.
