Community members are being asked to help secure $100,000 for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation as the U11 Huntsville Sting Black girls hockey team competes for the Good Deeds Cup contest.

With just one week left, it’s all hands on deck. Here’s how YOU can help! Simply record a good deed with a photo or video and post to any social media platform tagging the following: @ChevroletCanada, #GoodDeedsCup #Contest #HuntsvilleStingBlackU11HL

Posts must include all of these to count, and the team with the most good deeds WINS!

Examples of good deeds include snow shoveling, helping carry groceries, volunteering, and donating to local charities like a food bank or shelter or Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Let’s bring joy to our community one good deed at a time and win $100,000 for Huntsville Hospital!

The Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup is in its final stretch, and the competition for the top three is heating up! Right now, Huntsville Sting U11 Black is in second place, keeping them in the running for the Good Deeds Cup and possibly securing the win for a second consecutive year!

Here are some of the impactful Good Deeds done by the team:

  • Donating books to the local book cubby
  • Filling the community food cupboard with groceries
  • Clearing snow off teachers’ cars

The winning team will receive the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup and a $100,000 donation to a registered Canadian charity of their choice.

Additionally, the second and third-place teams will also receive donations of $20,000 and $10,000 to a registered charity. The final deadline to submit Good Deeds is March 6
