Family and friends were very important to Gladys and fun and laughter always followed. We are sure the Brandt Dance Hall is now stomping with dancing and laughter. Her children remember her for her unconditional love, and readiness to help out as well as for her sewing/crafting/crocheting and the writing of a children’s play that she wrote for her church. Gladys’ grandchildren remember her for her homemade cookies – especially chocolate chip, the huge family dinners, her laugh especially when teaching self-defense, her crafts, her Christmas crafting sessions, and the making of her Franchesca dancing doll.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Pines for their kindness, care, and compassion.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at noon. Live streaming will be available for those unable to attend. Mrs. Armishaw will be laid to rest in the Spring beside her husband.
