Huntsville-Lake of Bays Fire department responded to a brush fire at a seasonal residence on North Waseosa Lake Road in the early afternoon of Monday, November 7, 2022.
Neighbours believe the fire may have started as a result of a campfire that was not fully extinguished.
Residents and visitors alike are reminded to always make sure their campfire is fully extinguished before leaving it. Wind can catch the smallest ember and cause a dangerous fire.
