Family Place Restaurant and Pizza has organized a Holiday Music Series during the month of December. The series showcases local musical talent while supporting The Table Food Bank.
Reservations are recommended (705 789-5602), and non-perishable food items will be collected. Santa letters can also be delivered to Family Place to ensure a safe delivery this holiday season.
On December 14, Briar Summers will entertain from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Briar grew up in Huntsville and is now studying Physiology at the University of Toronto. She is a pop/rock singer/songwriter, and she will perform some holiday tunes, including Christmas Kisses by Serena Ryder.
On December 17 from 5-7 pm, the Family Place will welcome Henri Audet. Born in Quebec City, Henri and his wife Jane have deep roots in Huntsville, which has been their home for over a decade. Henri has worked as a social worker and youth worker and has directed camps for children. The restaurant has scheduled Henri’s music for an earlier time, and families are encouraged to attend. There will be some specials on the menu for kids.
On Thursday, December 19th, from 6-8 p.m., Jack Nickalls will perform. Jack is a singer/songwriter from Huntsville. He will play a mixture of songs that he has written and songs that he wishes he had written.
On December 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Family Place will welcome Jack Gaughan. Jack is a professional songwriter/musician from Huntsville. He has performed extensively as a solo artist and as part of various ensembles, showcasing his versatility on guitar and vocals. He enjoys contributing to Huntsville’s vibrant music scene.
On December 31st, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tobin Spring will perform. Tobin was born and raised in Huntsville and attended Humber College to study music. He is a working musician who performs all over Muskoka and runs a successful music school. Tobin is one of the best guitarists around, and he has a voice to match.
