Environment Canada issues flash freeze warning

Description

Temperatures are forecast to fall rapidly. Ponding water, slush, and any falling precipitation will freeze as the temperature drops and wind and snow take over, impacting areas including Muskoka and Almaguin Highlands region.

What:
Flash freeze, blowing snow

When:
This morning.

Additional information:
Icy and slippery conditions are expected to develop as temperatures rapidly fall below the freezing mark and powerful winds and snow develop.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery, and hazardous and visibility will be diminished with blowing snow.
