UPDATE January 30: Dine at the Pine is sold out
Pine Glen Public School’s Parent Council will host its annual fundraiser Dine At The Pine for the third year — raising money to enhance the educational experience for the kids of Pine Glen.
Dine At The Pine started in February 2016 and sold 200 tickets in under two weeks and raised more than $10,000; February 2017 sold 200 tickets and raised more than $13,000. The event concept was to create a pop-up restaurant with local musicians and also includes a celebrity type host and a silent auction.
Dine At The Pine 3 – A Night At The Grand Ole Oprey, will showcase a three-course gourmet meal by Executive Chef David Bakker and Deerhurst Resort and a dessert course by Whimsical Bakery.
The event will be hosted by Brent and Sarah, Comedy/Magic team who regularly entertain at Deerhurst Resort and Disney Cruises.
The stage will feature local music acts sponsored by Muskoka’s community station The Bay 88.7FM (Hunters Bay Radio). Acts include: Megan Jesse, The Fernglen Fiddleheads, The Song Project Alumni Group, Gina Horswood, Juan Barbosa and Paul Lagendyk.
The dining room service will be handled by the Grade 7 & 8 students of Pine Glen PS.
