The Kingfisher Cottage Band is wrapping up their 2016-2017 season with something quite special.
The 24-member concert band is presenting a cabaret concert consisting almost entirely of music from the movies. The Kingfishers headline the show, with special appearances by the Gray Katz saxophone quartet, the T4 trumpet ensemble,and the Northwood Brass quintet. These groups are all comprised of Kingfisher members and alumni!
This special evening is being held (tonight) on June 28 at Huntsville’s Active Living Centre, starting at 7pm.
Audience members will be seated at tables where they can nibble away while the music flows. Cost of admission is a free-will offering.
