Community spirit wanted: more volunteers needed for Ironman 70.3 Muskoka this weekend

You may have seen them around town already, biking or running at roadside, getting some final training in before the big race. Some of them may be new faces; some are your neighbours, friends, or co-workers. All of them are athletes participating in Sunday’s Ironman 70.3 Muskoka and they need your help.

Volunteers are still needed for a variety of roles to help these athletes have a successful race and to hear a few encouraging words as they make their way through the course. Cheer your heart out!

High school students (or their parents) take note: volunteer hours qualify for community service credit.

Positions are available before, during and after the race, at registration, on all three legs of the swim-bike-run course (both in the Huntsville area and in Lake of Bays), in transition, at the finish line, and to hand out food post-race.

See the available positions and register here.
