Canadian Olympian Meagan Duhamel to visit Huntsville

The Huntsville Skating Club is excited to announce that Canadian Olympian Meagan Duhamel will be joining skaters from the area for a one-day skating seminar at the Canada Summit Centre on Friday, March 3.

Meagan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that she is excited to share with the skaters.

Along with partner Eric Radford, the pair are two-time world champions—2018  Olympic Gold medalists and 2014 Olympic Silver medalists.

Since retiring from competition, Duhamel has been touring internationally and is currently coaching at Skate Oakville. Canadian skating fans watched as she competed in the 6th season of the CBC series “Battle of the Blades.”

Skaters will experience both on-ice and off-ice activities with Duhamel,  while local dance instructor Taylor Marnoch will be offering off-ice dance experiences for the skaters.

Duhamel is also a certified holistic nutritionist and will be sharing her knowledge on nutrition with the skaters.

The event takes place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Jack Bionda rink and at the upper Don Lough track area of the Canada Summit  Centre.

The Huntsville Skating Club welcomes Duhamel to the community of Huntsville and looks forward to a day of skating, learning, and bonding.
