Aspdin’s annual turkey dinner is another success

For almost 40 years, volunteers have helped raise funds for the Aspdin Community Centre through an annual turkey dinner. Last night, over the course of a three-hour period, about 180 hungry mouths were fed the most scrumptious homemade turkey dinner with all the fixings and homemade pie for dessert. All the proceeds raised from the event go toward keeping the community centre an alive and happening place, which is most certainly was yesterday.
